問題のカテゴリーはあえてランダムに配置した。大学入試本番では、どのカテゴリーがどの順番で出題されるかは未知であるからである。要するに実戦を想定した為である。
理系を目指す諸君には、数学Ⅰ・Ａ・Ⅱ・Ｂからでもよいが、いきなり数学Ⅲからチャレンジするのもおすすめである。なぜなら、数学Ⅲは数Ⅰ・Ａ・数Ⅱ・Ｂの内容を既に含んでいるからである。
様々な解法パターンを網羅してある。
問題の解答には「解法のテクニック」として受験数学の問題を解く上で要点となるものをコンパクトに解説してある。
また、応用問題や、いわゆる難問と呼ばれる問題も数多く取り入れた。大は小を含むという理屈で難問が解けるようになれば、どのような問題にも対応できるからである。
